For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, the terms "we", "us" and "our" used anywhere on this page shall mean Karpilabs Softwares LLP, which operates CVonphone. "You", "your", "user" and "visitor" shall mean any natural or legal person who visits our website, creates an account, or purchases from us.

Your use of the website, the service, and any purchase from us are governed by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

CVonphone turns a resume into a personal link — cvonphone.com followed by a name you choose — that opens as a page designed to be read on a phone.

The service includes, and these terms cover, all of the following:

• Creating a resume from a file you upload, or from information you provide, with the help of AI

• Editing that resume by chatting with an AI assistant in plain language

• Publishing it at your personal link, and downloading it as a PDF

• The Open Library, a public directory in which people can list their resume so that others can find and read it

• Search across resumes that have been listed in the Open Library

• Revealing a listed person's contact details, and sending them a message

• Verified badges, which confirm something about you such as an email domain you control

• Notifications about activity on your link, sent in the app and, where you have provided the necessary details and consent, by other channels

We add, change and withdraw features over time. Nothing in these terms is a commitment that any particular feature will continue to exist.

You need an account to publish a link. Accounts are created by signing in with Google or by another method we offer from time to time.

You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, and for keeping access to the email address it is attached to.

Your personal link is chosen by you and reserved on a first-come basis. We may reclaim a link that impersonates another person or organisation, that infringes a trademark, that is offensive, or that has never been used, and we may do so without notice where the link is being used to deceive.

You can delete your account from your settings. Deleting your account removes your published link.

You keep ownership of the resume content you create. Our platform, our AI prompts and pipelines, and our resume rendering styles remain our property.

By publishing a resume you grant us the licence we need to host it, render it, generate a PDF of it, and — if you list it in the Open Library — show it and index it for search.

You confirm that the content you upload is yours to upload, that it is accurate, and that publishing it does not breach anyone else's rights or any obligation you owe to a current or former employer.

You are responsible for what your resume says. We do not verify the claims in it, and a verified badge confirms only the specific thing it names.

Listing in the Open Library is a choice you make, and one you can reverse at any time from your settings.

A listed resume is public. It can be read by anyone, found through search on our site, and — unless you tell us otherwise — indexed by search engines. Treat anything you put in a listed resume as published to the world.

Your contact details are not shown on a listed resume by default. Another user can reveal them, which costs them credits and is recorded.

Un-listing removes your resume from the directory, from our search index, and from contact reveal going forward. It cannot claw back information that somebody has already seen, copied, or been shown.

You must not use the Open Library to scrape resumes in bulk, to build a competing database, to send unsolicited marketing, or to contact people for anything other than a genuine professional approach.

AI features run on credits. New accounts receive a starting balance, subscriptions include an allowance, and further credits can be purchased.

Creating a resume, chatting with the AI assistant, and revealing a contact each consume credits. The amount consumed depends on what the operation costs us to run, and the current rates are shown in the app before you spend.

Credits are not money. They are non-transferable, they have no cash value outside the platform, and they may not be sold or shared.

AI output can be wrong. It can misread a document, drop something, or state something that is not true. You are responsible for reading what it produced before you publish it or send it to anyone. Do not rely on it as professional, legal or career advice.

We use third-party AI providers to run these features, and the provider or model we use may change without notice.

Some features require a paid subscription. Current prices, billing periods and what each plan includes are shown in the app at the point of purchase, and are not restated here so that this page cannot fall out of date with them.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel before it ends. You can cancel at any time from your settings, and we email you before a renewal is taken.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, currently including Razorpay. By making a purchase you also accept the payment provider's own terms. We do not store your full card details.

Refunds and cancellations are dealt with in our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy.

We shall be under no liability in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorisation for any transaction, on account of the cardholder having exceeded any preset limit agreed between us and our acquiring bank.

You agree not to use the service to:

• Do anything unlawful, or anything that infringes another person's rights

• Impersonate another person, or publish a resume that is not about you

• Upload false, fraudulent or deliberately misleading information

• Scrape, harvest or bulk-download resumes, or access the service by automated means we have not authorised

• Send unsolicited marketing, spam or recruitment blasts to people you found through the service

• Attempt to reverse engineer our AI prompts, pipelines or models, or to extract them through the assistant

• Resell, share or transfer credits, badges or account access

• Interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or circumvent limits or paywalls

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and may remove content that does.

The content of the pages of this website is subject to change without notice.

Neither we nor any third party provides any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors, and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Your use of any information or materials on our website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It is your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through our website meet your specific requirements.

We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it.

Our website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions.

All trademarks reproduced on our website which are not the property of, or licensed to, the operator are acknowledged on the website.

Unauthorised use of information provided by us may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of employment or opportunity, or for any consequence of relying on AI-generated content.

Any dispute arising out of use of our website, any purchase with us, or any engagement with us is subject to the laws of India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last Updated" date.

Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
